Black that Blends all Colours & Flavours
N.A.C.S
One of FJB’s goals is to raise local awareness of what it means to live with visual impairment.

Among the activities the association runs is this project: a dinner served entirely in the dark, so each guest can briefly experience life as a person with visual impairment. The whole evening unfolds in complete darkness.
Live music, theatre, concerts and more are offered through the evening, all in the dark. The format is innovative and enriching — what stays with you is the encounters and the way you suddenly perceive your surroundings. Every sense is on high alert. Stepping into someone else’s shoes shows that despite the challenge, life can still be lived fully. The will to overcome makes the seemingly impossible possible: enjoying a meal, a show, a concert. That is what guests take away.
Curious? Keen to support this project? Want to take part? Just reach out to FJB to make a financial or material donation, or to offer your skills and ideas. To defend the causes that matter, we must move forward together — listen, and lend a hand!
The price of the meal is a donation that goes to help visually impaired and blind people in Africa.
The whole FJB team is delighted to share this great moment with future guests, volunteers and partners.
